Another InnoDays event (InnoDays – Region of Crete) has been successfully completed! It was a great pleasure for us to represent the Institute of GeoEnergy at booth B01 of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), during the three-day event held on 28–30 November 2025 in Heraklion, Crete.
This year, we participated with two Scientific Topics (presented as posters), focusing on themes that reflect the Institute’s research areas and activities, giving visitors the opportunity to explore our work and discuss with us.
The European Project TWINN2SET, coordinated by the Institute of Geoenergy, under GA 101079246 was also actively represented. TWINN2SET is being implemented as a partnership between the Greek Institute of Geoenergy of the Foundation for Research & Technology – Hellas (FORTH/IG)-Coordinator, the Norwegian University of Stavanger (UiS) and the French Research Center IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN). The project’s research activities focus on the assessment of geological hydrogen storage stability, the practical setup of operations and the potential competition or synergies of other uses of the underground space for gas storage (i.e natural gas and CO2) and aspects of Geothermal Energy
We sincerely thank everyone who honored us with their presence, and we look forward to meeting you again at the next Region of Crete Innovation Days!
