Collaboration between the IG and the MOTOR OIL Group

The Motor Oil Group, with a consistent and steady course spanning 50 years, is initiating an important collaboration with the Institute of Geoenergy of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH).

The Group actively and consistently supports research and innovation throughout the entire process, from their development to their practical application. It is at the forefront of addressing the new challenges of the energy future, with a long-standing strategic objective of the continuous development and improvement of its activities.

The research activities of the Institute of Geoenergy extend across the full spectrum of new energy forms. The Institute is active in processes and energy systems, such as carbon capture, storage and utilization (CCUS), geothermal energy, and the circular economy.
