Another InnoDays (Innovation Days of the Region of Crete) has been successfully completed! It was our great pleasure to represent the Institute of GeoEnergy at booth B1 of the Foundation for Research and Technology.

The need for faster development of the hydrogen network in transportation was highlighted by Manos Stamatakis, researcher at the Institute of Geoenergy – FORTH, during his presentation at the Hydrogen & Green Gases Forum.

The Institute of Geoenergy of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) invites you to a seminar on: “Exploration of natural resources using geophysical methods”, on Wednesday, April 26, 12:00–14:00, in the conference room of the Institute of Geoenergy (Building M1, School of Mineral Resources Engineering), with speaker Professor Pantelis Soupios (King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals – KFUPM, Saudi Arabia).

The Art Exhibition on the theme Greening Dry Cleaning, which took place during Clean Expo 23 at the Peristeri Exhibition Center from February 11 to 12, 2023, was completed with great success.

A workshop entitled “Prevention and replacement of single-use plastics in Greek dry cleaners GreeningDryCleaning” was successfully held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Peristeri Exhibition Center, as part of the Clean EXPO 2023 exhibition.

The aim of this session is to present some of the main principles of geothermal systems: wherethe energy come from? What are the geological contexts favorable to the use of this energy? What are the different types of geothermal systems? The emphasis will be on systems that can be characterized by geophysical approaches.
