On Friday, October 8th 2021, Dr. Spyridon Bellas, Principal Researcher at the Institute of Petroleum Research (IPR) / Foundation for Research & Technology - Hellas (FORTH), participated as Invited Speaker at the 53rd CEEC Scout Group Meeting in Athens. His talk entitled “Why the hydrocarbons exploration is attractive in Greece? The potential behind, and the energy transition bridge of gas”, and focused on the potentiality of Greece relevant to exploration for Gas, explaining the significance of it, as Gas is considered to be the energy source bridging the Transitional period to a carbon free Era, according to the requirements of the EU. More than 85 International Companies participated, including the Hellenic Petroleum Group (HELPE) who was the host of the event.
