Boron doping is an effective strategy to enhance the chemical reactivity and environmental performance of graphene. By introducing electron-deficient sites and structural defects, boron improves catalytic activity and pollutant adsorption. In this work, graphene-based materials with controlled boron content (1.6–50 at%) were developed, including a novel boron-rich 2D structure (borographane, H₂B₂C₂).
